Patricia Samaniego
About
Behind the Seams
Patricia Samaniego is an award winning fashion designer with over 14 years of design experience. She has been sewing since the age of 5, taught by her two grandmothers who were seamstresses. Her fashion experience has given her the opportunity to create costumes for a show on The Las Vegas Strip, to working with Ulrich Engler couture designer to British royalty. She has also been a fashion coordinator for a fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine as well as having her own fashion design studio. Patricia has been featured on the Daytime Morning Show, More Show, Fashion Week Daily, Vegas Magazine, FashionTribes.com, So Vegas! Magazine, The Daily Front Row and A Fashionable Life Radio, just to name a few. Patricia has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design from the International Academy of Design and Technology and attended The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she won the coveted Critic's Choice Award for Best Evening Wear Designer. She was also a two time finalist with GenArt and won the Bacardi Limon Express Your Style Competition.
